A number of people were arrested after detectives with the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department and officers with the Mississippi Department of Corrections served warrants to two suspects.

Sheriff David Allison said the team of officers and detectives went to 168 Terry Lane on Oct. 12, in an attempt to locate the suspects and serve the warrants.

They arrived to find paraphernalia in plain view of the home, leading to a search. In the search the officers located 32-year-old Gilbert Robinson of 60 Broadridge Dr., 30-year-old Savannah Miller of 26 Main St., Poplarville, 44 year-old Jerusha Morehead of 215 West Sand Creek Rd., Enterprise La., 42-year-old Timothy Magee of 624 Charlotte Dr. and 35-year-old Julie Lonadier of 168 Terry Lane.

Robinson and Miller were taken into custody at that time for warrants with MDOC, while the others were detained as the search was conducted, Allison said.

Several items of contraband were found in that search, including methamphetamine in a backpack allegedly controlled by Morehead. Allison said there was evidence to indicate the drug was hers.

Also found in the search were syringes and spoons recovered in an area of the home controlled by Lonadier, while digital scales and marijuana was recovered from Magee.

Miller was arrested for probation violation and multiple warrants that included reckless driving, improper equipment, no tag, no insurance, no child restraint, DUI first, DUI child endangerment and no tag light, Allison said.

Morehead was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine, Lonadier was arrested for possession of paraphernalia and Magee was arrested for possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

After officers cleared the scene, they received a phone call that 38-year-old Christopher Frierson of 201 Forest St., had been hiding in the attic during the search. Units went back to the home and searched the attic to find Frierson unresponsive due to heat exhaustion, Allison said. Officers had to cut a hole in the dry wall of the ceiling to get him down and provide medical treatment. After receiving that treatment he was arrested for a warrant with MDOC for absconding and for two indictments for residential burglary and commercial burglary, the sheriff said.
