Funeral Services for Donald Wayne Mayeux, age 79, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Monday, May 27, 2019, will be held Friday, May 31, 2019, at 11:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Friday, May 31, 2019 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Brad Arnett will officiate the service.

A native of Alexandria, LA, he served in the US Navy , and he was a retired Electronics Technician for the Federal Government. Don really enjoyed golfing. He was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Joseph Mayeux and Etta V. Walker Mayeux; and his grandson, Nathan Michael Mayeux.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Rebecca Jane Shell Mayeux; his children, Deborah (Kevin) Watercutter, and Michael (Jamie) Mayeux; 5 grandchildren, Justin Hamel, Emily Hamel, Dale Mayeux, Gabby Mayeux, and Christopher Mayeux; his brother and sister, Darrell (Patricia) Mayeux and Evelyn Mayeux; 5 nieces and nephews, Kevin Mayeux, Holly Mayeux, Deanna Takach, Shane Takach and Jamie Shell.
