Marge “Margie” Smith Burke

Graveside Funeral Services for Marge “Margie” Smith Burke, age 98 Years, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019, will be held Saturday, April 6, 2019, at 11:00am at Henleyfield Cemetery .

Burial will be in Henleyfield Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Dr. Dustin Stockstill will officiate the service. A native of Maplewood, NJ, she was a secretary for General Electric. Margie was a member of First Baptist Church of Henleyfield. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Margie was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Alexander Smith and Elizabeth Meister Smith; her husband of 62 years, Robert Andrew Burke; her son, Bobby Burke; and 6 sisters and 2 brothers.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jeffery (Linda) Burke, Kathleen (James) Tourne, and Tommy (Patricia) Burke; 6 grandchildren, Kyla (Chris) Griffin, Kimberly (Bryan) Dearman, Shayne (Melissa) Stockstill, Dr. Dustin (Kelly) Stockstill, Jennifer (Pete) Taggard, and Dr. Janice (Brad) Touchstone; 11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
