Lawrence Coe

Funeral service will be held Sat., March 23, 2019 at noon in Mount Chapel Baptist Cemetery, Waveland, MS, for Lawrence Coe, age 66, of Waveland. Mr. Coe died Sat., March 16, 2019 in New Orleans, LA. Rev. Markeith McGill  will officiate at the service. A native of Waveland, he graduated from Valena C. Jones in 1970 and served in the Navy.

He was a member of Mount Chapel Baptist Church, serving as Superintendent of Mount Chapel Sunday School, and was a member of the Gospel Group. Survivors include; 1 brother, James Coe of Augusta, GA; 5 sisters, Mary Hawkins, Rose Coe and Deloris Booth of Waveland, Beatrice Coe King of Birmingham, AL and Louise Mayberry of Augusta, GA.

Preceded in death; parents, Solomon and Virgie Coe; 3 sisters, Mattie Jenkins, Betha Mimmitte and Jeanette Coe. 

Visitation will be Sat., March 23, 2019 from 11 a.m. until noon in Mt. Chapel Baptist Church. Burial in the Waveland Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
