When people spend money on a product or service they expect to get their money’s worth.
When the product or service goes above and beyond what is expected, the customer not only feels their hard-earned dollars were well spent, they will be more inclined to suggest that product or service to others.
Within the past year and a half, members of the Greater Picayune Area Chamber of Commerce have been getting just that, more than they expected.
As the new leadership stepped in, promises were made to increase both membership numbers and the benefits involved. So, it wasn’t without fault that some may have had doubts, as with previous promises were made to the same effect.
A year and a half later, I’m happy to say that all of those promises and more have come to fruition.
There have been a multitude of Chamber events over these past 18 plus months, and they have occurred more frequently.
With the subsequent increase in membership that follows with more networking events, because networking is one of the benefits of Chamber membership, an increase in the number of Chamber grand openings and ribbon cuttings have followed.
Businesses that support their local Chamber are more likely to succeed, which leads to not only more jobs, but a stronger tax base for our government leaders to maintain services and infrastructure.
So, to the leadership at the Chamber, keep up the good work.
