Mass of Christian Burial for Marie Herring Davis, age 81, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019, will be held Thursday, February 7, 2019, Rosary at 11:00 am and Mass at 11:30 am, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Biloxi National VA Cemetery, Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 2:30 pm, under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Father Marcin Wictor will officiate the service, assisted by Rev. Terry Chapman and Father Henry McInerney.

A native of Natchez, MS, she was a Homemaker and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Marie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Monroe Herring Sr. and Elizabeth Freeman Herring; her brothers and sisters, James Monroe Herring, Jr., Bonnie Herring Ingram, Joseph Edgar Herring, Betty Lou Brady, and Robert David Herring.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Fred Harold Davis; her daughter, Angela Davis-Morris and husband, Joe Morris; her grandson, Adam Joseph Morris and wife, Kasie; her great grandson, Brantley Adam Morris; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Joe Morris, Adam Morris, and Alan Ingram.

The Biloxi National VA Cemetery only allows 2 flower stands at the cemetery, so in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1000 Goodyear Blvd, Picayune, MS.
