Funeral Services for Jo Ann Sherrer, age 81, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019, will be held Friday, February 15, 2019, at 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Picayune.

Visitation will be Friday, February 15, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Picayune.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Dr. Keith Warden will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, MS, she was a retired Registered Nurse and a caretaker for the elderly. Jo Ann was a member of First Baptist Church of Picayune. Jo Ann was a loving and devoted mother, Maw Maw, sister, aunt, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, M.H. Saucier and Bonnie Myrtle Blackmon Saucier; her husband, Jack Norman Sherrer; her brother, Jack R. Saucier; and her sisters, Betty Lou Mitchell and Bonnie Jean Saucier.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted children, Bragg Sherrer and wife, Sandy, Betty Jo Alexander and husband, Howard, and Weesie Comeaux and husband, Edmond; 9 Grandchildren. Emily Moore and husband, Tyler, Ryan Sherrer, Tyler Alexander, Zack Comeaux and wife Jacey, Meagan Sherrer, Jennifer Comeaux, Anna Alexander, Dessie Alexander, and Damin Alexander; 1 great granddaughter on the way; her sister, Jeannette Bridges; and numerous nieces and nephews.
