Mass of Christian Burial for Jody Gerard Knight, age 65, of Picayune, MS, who passed away unexpectedly from an Aortic Aneurysm, Saturday, January 5, 2019, visitation will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am, with Mass to immediately follow at 11:00 am at Annunciation Catholic Church, Kiln, MS. with burial following at Flat Top Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Father Bob Higginbotham will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, MS, he was retired from Stennis Space Center, and was currently an Insurance Agent for Knights of Columbus. Jody was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church, where he sang most Sundays. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Ray Knight.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Faye Lee Knight; his sons, Matthew (Helen) Knight, Dennis (Kristy) Knight, and Adam (Shelene) Knight; 8 grandchildren, Olivia Story, Kylee Knight, Ethan Knight, Ava Knight, Elaina Knight, Colton Knight, Kane Knight, and Kayten Knight; his mother, Lois Hingle Knight; his brother, Johnnie (Sharon Moore) Knight; his sister, Lois Ray (Ronnie) LaFontaine; and several nieces and nephews.
