Funeral services for Engle Claudette Henry White, age 54, of Detroit, MI, a native of Poplarville, MS, will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at New Welcome Baptist Church, 12 Whitesand Road, Poplarville, MS, 39470. She transitioned to her heavenly home on Monday, December 31, 2018 embraced by her loving and devoted sister.

Pastor MJ Galloway will officiate at the service. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

On August 20, 1964, the late Mrs. Eva Mae Henry and Mr. Clinton Lee Henry were blessed with a baby girl and she was named Engle Claudette.

She was preceded in death by mother, Mrs. Eva Mae Henry; six sisters, Chandra Kay Burns, Cornelia Yvette Williams, Ogela Bridgett Thomas, Tabitha Juno Houston, Joyce Etta Armstrong and Renita Sonia Sykes.

Engle leaves to cherish her loving memories; beloved father, Mr. Clinton Lee Henry; five caring brothers, Cleveland Henry, Bernard Henry, Darrell Glenn Henry, Gerald Lee Henry and Jose’ Manuell Henry; four devoted sisters, Lou Gwenda Young, Dottie Vanessa Gildersleeve, Veronica Michelle Henry and Jimmiece Nicole Young; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Interment will be in the Dave Mondy Cemetery (Whitesand Community), Poplarville, MS.
