Funeral Services for Leonora “Nonie” Ford Wilson, age 79, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Friday, December 21, 2018, will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Picayune.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Picayune.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Rev. R.T. Buckley will officiate the service.
A native of Laurel, MS, she was a retired Administrative Assistant for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Picayune. Nonie was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She loved spending time with family and friends, and was deeply devoted to the Cursillo and Kairos Ministries.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Columbus Ford Sr. and May Pearson Ford; her loving husband of 54 years, Richard Earl Wilson; and her brother, William Columbus Ford, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Steve (Anita) Wilson, Diane Wilson, Lori (Brian) Lee, and Marcia (Jay) Fleck; 5 grandchildren, Kristen (Jonathan) Stockstill, Anthony Lee, Jr., Stephanie (Jared) Williams, Emily Lee, Alyssa Fleck; 4 great grandchildren, Julianne Stockstill, Jentry Stockstill, Jancey Stockstill, and Greyson Williams; her sisters, Sarah Brannon and Lauranne Doggett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
