Laura “Tiny” Sweet

Funeral Services for Laura “Tiny” Sweet, age 85, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018, will be held Sunday, December 23, 2018, at 3:00 pm at Roseland Park Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 23, 2018 from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm at Roseland Park Baptist Church.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Dan Young will officiate the service.

A native of Murphysboro, IL, she was a Homemaker and a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church. Tiny was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Brouillette and Matilda Burkholtz Brouillette; her loving husband of 52 years, Lester “Sug” Eugene Sweet; her son, Jimmy Sweet, her granddaughter, Anna Ka Sweet; and 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Eugene (Jan) Sweet and Susie (Eddie) Estapa; 6 grandchildren, Clay (Casey) Sweet, Josh (Margo) Sweet, Nacole (Mickey) Dillion, Christy Sweet, Todd Estapa, and Wade Estapa; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
