Graveside Memorial Services for Jewel Daniel Kahl, age 81, of McNeill, MS, who passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018, will be held at a later date.

Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of McNeill, MS, he was a graduate of Pearl River Community College with honors. Jewel was a member of White Chapel Church of God, and served as the Music Director. He sang with Heavenly Home Ministries. Jewel was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Herman Kahl and Pauline Cook Kahl; his wife, Sherry Elizabeth Kahl; his son, Eric Kahl; his granddaughter, Briana Baker; his great granddaughter, Indy Kirtland; and  3 brothers and 1 sister.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Gina Kahl Hutson, Jarel “Jamie” Kahl, and Mark Kahl; 8 grandchildren, Niki Cottrell, Tyler Kahl, Kayla Kahl, Mark Kahl, Jr., Zachary Kahl, Julie Morgan, and Sara Kahl; 4 great grandchildren, Isaiah Cottrell, Isabell Cottrell, Thaddeus Morgan, and Callie Morgan; and several nieces and nephews.
