Funeral Services for Suzanne Renee Harrison, age 53, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Friday, November 9, 2018, will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018, at 5:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Picayune, 401 Goodyear Boulevard, Picayune, MS.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Picayune.

Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens, 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at 11:00 am under the direction of Horis A.Ward – Fairview Chapel.

Rev. Seth Stanley will officiate the services in Picayune, MS.

A self-proclaimed military “brat” who called Pensacola, Florida her childhood home, she was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker, and child of Jesus Christ.  She will forever be remembered for her kindness and gentle nature.  Always thinking of others, she could often be found crafting handmade cards and other mementos as a “pick me up” for those needing a little spiritual lift.  Early in her adult life she realized that the thing she was most passionate about was being the best wife and mother she could be.  Twenty-six years ago, she married that ideal husband, and 13 years later, she was blessed with an equally wonderful son.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Douglas “Randy” Harrison; son, William “Billy” Harrison; parents, James L. Rice and June L. Rice; sister, Teresa “Tee Tee” Guiffria and husband Mike; along with scores and scores of friends and extended family.  She was truly special and heaven now has another angel!
