Funeral service will be held Sat. Nov. 3, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Trinity Outreach Ministry for Donald “Blue” Cooper age 55 of Picayune, MS, who died Oct. 26, 2018 in Atlanta, GA.,  at Grady Memorial Hospital.  He was a native of Picayune, MS. He was a member of East Jerusalem Baptist under the leadership of the late Dr. Alonzo Dees. He attended Trinity Outreach Ministry under Rev. Carl Flowers.  He graduated from Picayune Memorial High School where he played football. He  attended Pearl River Jr.  College and played 1 year on the  football team.  Survivors include 1 son, Donald Cooper Jr., and 1 grand daughter London Cooper both of Hattiesburg. MS; 1 sister, Janet VanBuren of Atlanta, GA; 3 brothers, Rogers Cooper of Valdosta, GA; Eric Cooper of Hattiesburg, MS; Derrick Cooper of Picayune;  1 uncle, Probe Cooper of Picayune; 2 aunts, Addie Bullock of Picayune and  Gertrude Lester of New Orleans; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by parents Roosevelt and Essie Mae Cooper,  a twin brother Ronald Cooper, and a sister, Barbara McDonald.  Visitation Sat. Nov. 3, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in Trinity Outreach Ministry. Burial will be in the New  Palestine Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
