Father and son arrested for alleged drug distribution

A father and son were arrested for drug related offenses after execution of a search warrant found evidence that controlled substances were allegedly being distributed from their home.
Pearl River County Sheriff David Allison said narcotics detectives from his department obtained a warrant for the home of 53-year-old James Pollock and 33-year-old Blaze Pollock, located at 202 County Farm Road in Lumberton on May 18 after receiving several community complaints alleging that drug activity was ongoing in the home.
During the search, detectives found distribution sized amounts of marijuana and methamphetamine inside the home. They also found digital scales, three firearms, paraphernalia and $1,044 in currency, all of which was seized in the operation, Allison said.
James Pollock was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Blaze Pollock was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, Allison said.
