Narcotics detectives with the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department netted a number of suspects in separate cases recently.

Sheriff David Allison said that on March 13, detectives and officers with the department’s criminal investigation division served a warrant at 23 Quick Road in Carriere that resulted in the discovery of marijuana, digital scales, packaging materials and some paraphernalia.

The warrant was part of a two month long investigation into the alleged sale of heroin and marijuana at that home, the residence of 24-year-old Sean Boudreaux. Allison said that while no heroin was found at the time of the search, the department had evidence that he had sold the narcotic on at least three prior occasions.

As a result of the investigation and findings during the search, Boudreaux was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and three counts of sale of heroin, Allison said.

A day later, detectives, deputies and officers with the Mississippi Department of Corrections went to a home at 21 Darby Lane in Carriere to serve a warrant. Allison said that deputies and investigators are familiar with the location due to a large number of calls or issues there. In all, about 40 calls were worked by Sheriff’s Department personnel for drug related complaints, attempts to recover stolen property or serving search warrants, the sheriff said.

Law enforcement personnel arrived to find a number of people inside and outside the home. During the search, several people were determined to be in possession of methamphetamine, paraphernalia and or packaging materials, Allison said.

As a result of the findings during the search, 44-year-old Robert Hellmers III of 32068 Old Bouie Rd., Carriere was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, 31-year-old Sandra Sellers of 19 Railroad St., Carriere was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and a probation violation with MDOC, 28-year-old Kelly Silva of 19 Railroad St., Carriere was arrested for possession of paraphernalia and a hold with MDOC for probation violation, 26-year-old Colbi T.
