No damage reported from Hurricane Nate in Pearl River County

No damage was reported as a result of Hurricane Nate in Pearl River County, which passed through the Mississippi Gulf Coast Saturday night.

Picayune Assistant Fire Chief Barry Lee said that no emergency calls came in to the fire or police departments during the storm and no damage was reported.

Pearl River County Emergency Management Director Danny Manley said the the EOC sheltered four people and had 20 staff members during the storm.

No damage was reported as a result of the storm through the county, but there were 800 power outages reported, which were all restored by 7 a.m. Sunday.
