Investigators with the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department are looking for two suspects believed to be involved in a burglary at Mardi Gras Zone, formerly known as the McNeill Truck Stop, which occurred early Friday morning.
Chief Investigator Marc Ogden said the department received a report of the burglary Friday morning. Staff reported an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen during the crime.
Investigators responded and reviewed surveillance footage to find two suspects had entered the store at about 2 a.m. Friday. A still image of a female suspect was taken from the footage and investigators are requesting the public’s help in identifying her. A male suspect was also involved, but was wearing a mask, Ogden said. The footage was not good enough to provide a clear description of the male suspect, but Ogden believes he is a white male.
Investigators are still working to determine how the suspects entered the business since there was no sign of forced entry, Ogden said.
Anyone with information that can help identify the woman in the picture is asked to call dispatch at 601-795-2241.
