Four accidents caused by storm

Four vehicle accidents were reported Monday morning across Pearl River County as a result of the storm.
Pearl River County Emergency Management Director Danny Manley said most of the accidents occurred at 5 a.m. as the storm passed through the county. Trees were down across Interstate 59, causing two of the accidents. The other two accidents were associated with the bad weather. One person was injured in those accidents, but no fatalities were reported.
All road blockage has since been cleared.
Other damage associated with the storm entailed lightning striking a home, but when volunteer fire departments responded no action was required on their part, Manley said.
