Poplarville police respond to bomb threat

Officers with the Poplarville Police Department responded to a bomb threat at the Poplarville High School on Wednesday, making an arrest of a suspect whose identity is not being released.
Poplarville Police Chief Butch Raby said the call came in that afternoon at about 1:25, leading to an investigation into the report at the school.
Raby said a note was used to make the threat. When officers searched the school, no bomb was found.
One suspect was arrested after an investigation identified someone who was responsible.
Raby declined to provide the identity or age of the suspect. He said the case will be turned over to the court system.
