Nursing programs across the country were assessed based on quality, convenience, satisfaction, affordability and value, according to a press release from PRCC.

The school passed with flying colors. The program received high marks for its graduation rate, program accreditation, pass rate on the national licensing exam and financial aid programs.

The nursing program is no stranger to providing a quality education to its students. The program was established in 1965, and will celebrate its 50th anniversary this fall.

A good education is the best foundation a school can provide to its students, who will one day enter the workforce. It’s great to see that a school right here in this county is being recognized for its achievements in education.

As a community, we should be proud and continue to support our community college and all they do to ensure students get the education they need to succeed right here in Pearl River County.
