Funeral Services for Rosalyn Folks, 68, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Friday, December 20, 2013, will be held Monday, December 23, 2013, at 12 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Picayune.

Visitation will be Monday, December 23, 2013 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Picayune.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Jim Biedenharn will officiate the service.

A native of Forest, Miss., she was a Teacher at Picayune School District for 36 years. Rosalyn was a member of First United Methodist Church of Picayune, and the Ethel Vaughn Circle. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. Rosalyn volunteered for Meals on Wheels and the Christian Care Ministries. She loved USM football and was inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Truman Rogers and Vida Burns Rogers; and her niece, Denisa Pinkerton.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Percy W. Folks; her sister, Evelyn Dennis and husband Harold; her brother in law, William Folks and wife Carolyn; 5 nieces and nephews, Gregory Folks and wife Kathleen, Steven Folks and wife Terri, Theresa Jamison and husband Jett, Lisa Walters and husband Roger, and Rev. Sarah Windham and husband Edwin; numerous great nieces and great nephews; and great great nieces and nephews.
