SHARED MOMENT WITH A PROUD GRANDMOTHER: A grandmother’s desire to see her only grandson receive his high school diploma became a reality. Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Rayford-Satcher has one daughter (Kalela) and one grandson (Dekeilen). Due to illness, Rayford-Satcher was unable to attend the graduation ceremony on Thursday night. Superintendent Dean Shaw took time out of his busy schedule to present Dekeilen Rayford with his high school diploma at his grandmother’s house on Friday, May 23. The family is grateful to Mr. Shaw for showing compassion; he was truly an angel that granted a grandmother a memorable moment.
