Mass of Christian Burial for Diane Flesch Lunn, 71 of  Carriere, Miss., who passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013, will be held Friday, December 27, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Visitation will be Friday, December 27, 2013 from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, Friday, December 27, 2013 at 3 p.m. under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Father Michael Snyder will officiate the services.

A native of Gretna, La., she was a Teacher at St. Joseph and St. Anthony Schools in Gretna. Diane was also a Beauty Salon Owner. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Diane was an Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John M. Flesch and Louise Delger Austen.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Alvin J. Lunn Jr.; her children, Alvin J. Lunn and wife Lisa, Catherine Lunn, and Erin Lunn and Stephen Ricouard; 3 grandchildren, Krista DiBlanca and husband Mike, Shaun Lunn and wife Alyssa, and Nicholas Lunn; 3 great grandchildren, Annabelle DiBlanca, Graham Lunn, and Jack DiBlanca; her sister, Cheryl Barnard and husband Dave; her niece, Dawn Goodreaux; and her nephews, Don Reeves and Darryl Reeves. Diane leaves behind a host of cherished lifelong friends and family.
