Picayune Touchdown Club announced its fund raiser to help raise funds for their championship rings.

An apparel drive is the major fund raiser for the rings according to Rocky Stockstill, Touchdown Club treasurer.

“We have the rings ordered and must be able to pay for them. We are selling maroon and gray long and short sleeve shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies and gray sweatpants as well as hats decals and south state T-shirts,” Stockstill said. “The T-shirt’s are selling for $12, long sleeve T-shirts are $15, sweatshirts are $20, hoodies are $25, sweat-pants are $17, hats are $15 and decals are $5.

“There are also Class 5A South States shirts which are $15 for short sleeved and $15 for long sleeved shirts. They are maroon.”

Touchdown Club President Sandy Kane Smith is currently working on a second order.

“I’d like to start working on the second order when the kids return to school and turn it in the following Monday,” Smith said. “We currently have some preordered but I am holding off until the second week of school to build our volume.”

“Merchandise order forms can be acquired at Picayune Memorial High School, Mike’s Quick Stop, Western Auto or Maroon Tide football players, cheerleaders or Touchdown Club members,” Stockstill said. “Also, forms can be printed out from www.Maroontide.com.”

Stockstill requested that all payments and forms be turned in to Picayune Memorial High School.

“This is a great opportunity to support the students who brought home the state title,” she said.
