Sallie Jane Stratmann, age 89, of Carriere, MS passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017.

Services will be private, at a later date, per Sallie’s wishes.

Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. 

A native of Richmond, Ky., Sallie moved to New Orleans at a young age, later moving to Metairie, then to Carriere, Miss. She was a Department Head for Prudential Insurance.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer “Bill” Stratmann; parents, Hubert Berryman and Beatrice Adams Berryman.

Left to cherish her memory are her cousins, Rosalie Fryoux, Pairlee Fryoux; nephew, James Berryman; niece, Katherine Crain; godchild, Darleen Luellen.

The family would like to thank Sallie’s wonderful caregivers with Forrest General Hospice, Sara Madaris and Carrie Easley.
