Funeral services for Joseph “Joe” F. Phillips, 84, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Monday, January 2, 2017, will be held Thursday, January 5, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Flat Top Unity Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Turtleskin Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Rev. Randy Shaw will officiate the service.
A native of Hancock County, Miss., he was a logger and a member of Burgetown Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Frierson Phillips; mother, Idabell Woods Phillips Coffman.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Joseph “Joe Joe” W. Phillips and wife Becky, Terry O. Phillips and wife Cindy; grandchildren, Melissa Lacoste and husband Daryl, Ricky Phillips and wife Ramona, Chrissie Grantham and husband Scott, Lisa Brown and husband Craig, Teresa Williams and husband Joe, Tiffany Wilson and husband Jeremy, Tabatha McGough and husband Llowayne; great-grandchildren, Kaleb Phillips, Livie Phillips, Isabella Phillips, Abigail Lacoste, Nelson Lacoste, Elias Grantham, Ava Grantham, Josie Grantham Andi Brown, Micah Brown, Casey Ladner, Brooke Ladner, Alyssa Wilson, Dylan Wilson, Katie Wilson, Colby McGough, Shelby McGough; and great-great-grandson, Brantley Crawford.
