Customers of Pearl River Central Water Association are advised of a couple of announcements made on Monday Feb. 16, 2015.
The first involves the possibility of low water pressure for customers in the Carriere community. This issue is due to the need to drain the water tank at Lake Estates in order to conduct maintenance. The low pressure is expected to last until the evening.

The second announcement deals with a boil water notice for residents living on Smith Street in Carriere. A broken water line caused low water pressure or an outage. Affected residents should boil water for at least a minute before consumption.
Water samples will be taken for the next two days. The boil water notice will be lifted once samples come back with favorable results.
