Funeral Services for Mary Katherine Landrum, age 85, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014, will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at 10:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Gipson Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
A native of Charleston, MS, she was a homemaker and a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church. She was a devout Christian with a wonderful singing voice who loved her family and always found time for whoever needed her. She will be deeply missed by all of her loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvis O. Champion and Loy Cole Champion; three brothers, Dean, Elvis Jr. and Michael Champion, two sisters, Charlotte Shipp and Jacquelyn Scroggins.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 68 wonderful years, Evan D. Landrum Sr.; three sons, Evan D. Landrum Jr. and wife Barbara, Jeffrey L. Landrum and wife Connie, Hal C. Landrum and wife Brenda; grandson, Kellis Landrum and wife Whitney; three granddaughters, Traci McKenzie and husband Brad, Mary Ann Brannon and husband David, Brooke Goforth and husband Marcus; nine great grandchildren, Alec, Luke, Emmie, Abby, Drew, Lainy, Mattie, Lilly, and Evie; sister, Emily Loy Noss and husband Charles.
