Funeral Services for Kenneth Wayne Bennett, age 72, of Port Vincent, LA, who passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Crossing in Baton Rouge, LA at 4:15 p.m., will be held Wednessday, December 17, 2014 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Gray’s Creek Baptist Church in Denham Springs, LA.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 9 a.m. to Noon at New Life Baptist Church in Picayune, MS.
Resumed Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Gray’s Creek Baptist Church in Denham Springs, LA from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Bro. Carl Sullivan will officiate the service.
A native of Nicholson, MS, he was an armed veteran.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Benjamin and Edwina Bennett; 3 brothers, George F. Bennett, Charles M. Bennett, and Edward Earl Bennett; and 2 sisters, Betty Smith, and Virginia Ann Penton.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Glenda Page Bennett; his son, Kennett Wayne Bennett Jr (Christe); his daughters, Dehorah Klein (Scott), and Kayla Bennett; his step-daughters, Ida Craig (Timothy), Dinnie Hebert (Jeremy), Erica Polzin (Francisco), Amanda Shuff (Butch); 4 brothers, Buford M. Bennett, David W. Bennett, Ray M. Bennett, and Morgan C. Bennett; 14 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
