A Picayune man was arrested Monday by authorities with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department after their investigation uncovered evidence linking the suspect to the alleged child molestation of a female over the course of eight years.
Fifty-four-year-old Harry Andrew Daigle was charged with one count of sexual battery and two counts of touching a child for lustful purposes, gratification and molesting, Hancock County Sheriff’s Department Chief Investigator Glenn Grannan said.
“The incidents occurred in Hancock County and apparently happened in 2006, 2011 and this November,” Grannan said.
Daigle is being held at the Hancock County Detention Center on $100,000 bond for all three charges.
According to the Sheriff Department website, Daigle is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 16.
