Funeral Service will be held Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in Rosa Sharon Church of God In Christ for Mother Maggie Mae Brumfield, age 87, of Picayune, Miss. who died Friday, October 31, 2014 in New Orleans, La.
Elder David Simmons will officiate the service. Burial will be in Picayune Cemetery, under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.

A native of Glenmora, La., she worked for The Crosby for many years, she was a member of Rosa Sharon Church of God In Christ for 56 years, President of Mother Board, President of Pray Band, President of Communion Staff, Church Pianist, Founder of The Brumfield Gospel Singers.

Preceded in death by husband, Lionel Brumfield; 2 sons, Lionel Brumfield, Lenson Brumfield; 1 daughter, Dianner Brumfield; 1 grandson, Paul Brumfield; 1 granddaughter, Brenda Brumfield; parents, Willie Mollette and Queen Ester Bradley Mollette.

Survivors include 6 sons, Elder Eugene Brumfield, of Hearne, Tx.; Apostle Arthur Brumfield, Hammond, La., Paul Brumfield, Hammond, La., Elder Herbert Brumfield, Elder Jerry Brumfield, David Brumfield, all of Picayune, Miss.; 4 daughters, Gwendolyn Wesco, Picayune, Miss., Teresa Lewis of D’Iberville, Miss., Lesha Brumfield, of Baton Rouge, La., Virgie Lee Bracey, Tylertown, Miss.; 36 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in Rosa Sharon Church of God In Christ.
