In order to fuel business development success for clients, Mississippi Enterprise for Technology (MSET) announces the addition of an Affiliate Program to its existing portfolio of services. The Affiliate Program is a new offering to companies not resident at Stennis Space Center and an expanded feature to companies already resident within MSET facilities located in the heart of Stennis. MSET is mostly known for its small business incubator, which was established at Stennis upon the non-profit’s creation in 1994.

To the nonresident client, the program provides business development assistance within the Stennis community. Additionally, affiliates may maintain a Stennis address, care of MSET, with secure mail, package handling, notary services and optional administrative support. MSET’s shared assets are also available, including conference rooms, meeting rooms, AV and office equipment.

Upon becoming an Affiliate, a company immediately becomes part of the MSET Stennis community and part of a broader regional, national, and global network MSET has developed over the last 17 years. Affiliate clients will be encouraged to take advantage of MSET-sponsored meetings, such as the Stennis Business Consortium, Lunch and Learn series, Service Provider Seminars, and other relevant programs, which most often feature speakers and business or procurement topics from more than 30 federal agencies and prime contractors located at Stennis.

Additional assistance in identifying training and education opportunities or access to select Stennis services such as NASA Laboratories and Graphics Services complement the features of this offering.

Resident clients or those clients leasing space from MSET will have additional benefits, which include facilities management and custodial support, a company listing in the Stennis Directory, an onsite receptionist, assistance with press releases, and the use of Stennis amenities such as a health club, child care facility, cafeterias, recreational facilities and more.

Stennis is NASA’s lead engine testing facility and is also home to multiple operations within the U.S. Navy and NOAA. Among the federal agencies and large contractors is a diverse university environment and small business community. “MSET wants to formally recognize and engage clients of all sizes that contribute to regional growth. We look for companies that drive innovation, create jobs, and want assistance in initiating or expanding their work with federal agencies, prime contractors, small businesses, and universities at Stennis and within the region,” said Charlie Beasley, President and CEO of MSET.
