Funeral Services for Charles O’Meara, 70, of Carriere, Miss., who passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013, will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013, at 1 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Unity Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Oklahoma City, Okla., he was a Pipleline Welder and a 47 year member of the 798 Pineliner’s Union.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Walter John O’Meara and Donna Jeannette Calvert O’Meara; an infant brother; his oldest brother, Walter John O’Meara Jr.; and his sister, Constance O’Meara.

Survivors include: his loving wife of 45 wonderful years, Dorothy A. O’Meara; his son, Challen R. O’Meara and wife Hattie; his daughter, Marie A. O’Meara; his two granddaughters, Charla-Ann Marie Cuevas and husband Kerry, Brittany Nicole O’Meara; two great-granddaughters, Caileah Nevaeh Cuevas and Kerrington Danae Cuevas; one great-grandson, Channing Dayne Cuevas; his two sisters, Pat Buckburough and Peggy Weaver; his two brothers, William “Bill” O’Meara and wife Janice and Larry J. O’Meara and wife Kathryn, many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
