Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 7, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Meryl I. Burge, 54, of Picayune, who passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010 in Picayune.

Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Tim Mims will officiate at the service.

A native of New Orleans, La., she was a Teacher and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank Leon Maggiore and Joyce Lucille Maggiore.

Survivors include: her husband, Carlis Burge of Picayune; one daughter, Mandy Ladner of Poplarville; one son, T.J. Burge of Carriere; five grandchildren: Levi Burge, Landon Burge, Lane Ladner, Abbie Ladner and Lexie Burge; three sisters: Donna Smith, Diana Wells, and Mary Maggiore, all of Picayune; and one brother, Frank Anthony Maggiore of Picayune.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
