Aundria Faye Skipper-Allen, 66, of Poplarville, Miss. passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011 at her residence in the care of her family.

She was retired from Pearl River County, Mississippi as the Tax Assessor/Collector.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, B.J. and Verlia Burge Skipper; and her husband of 44 years, Melvin Allen.

Survivors include: two daughters, Judy Allen of Austin, Ark. and Cassandra Simmons, and her husband Danny, of Poplarville; one son, Kevin Allen, and his wife Donna, of Poplarville; one brother, Bill Skipper of Picayune; three sisters: Shirley Sampson, Sherry LaVigne, both of Picayune, and Mona Boudreaux of Poplarville; four grandchildren: Douglas Slade Skipper, Whitney Penton, Trevor Penton, and Brittany Skipper; and two great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Mitchell and Kaylynn Osborne.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
