Silhouette Man coming to Picayune

If  you have ever walked through a historical home and admired the framed silhouettes proudly displayed, then you will appreciate the opportunity that Giaise Gallery is bringing to Picayune on Wednesday and Thursday of next week.

Nationally known artist Tim Arnold,The Silhouette Man, will be on hand at Giaise Gallery, November 3rd and 4th, by appointment. Tim is recommended by the Smithsonian and is considered to be America’s best silhouettist. Tim had the honor of cutting out former President George H. W. Bush’s grandchildren.

Cutting freehand with ordinary scissors, Arnold transforms black paper into timeless profile portraits in 5 minutes or less. He is famous for his accuracy and beautiful interior detailing.

Arnold says, “Kids do not have to sit still and it doesn’t matter how they are dressed. All ages are welcome, pets too.”
