On Wednesday, August 1, 2012, our dear mother, Clara Jay Lenoir, left behind all of her pain and suffering and went to be with her Lord and Savior in Heaven.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 4, 2012, at 12 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 4, 2012 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mill Creek Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Picayune, Miss., she was a Homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. Our mother loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and she will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Monroe Edward Tate and Carrie Landrum Tate; her husband, Bobby Lenoir; her brothers: Lester “Jack” Tate, James Tate, Marvin Tate, Elton Tate, Willie Tate, Coy Tate, and Edward Tate; and her sisters, Rita Spears, Eula Daniels, and Weda Wilcox.

She left behind to cherish her memory: four daughters: Diane (Roger) Smith, Barbara A. (Don) Willis, Theresa (Harvey) Davenport, and Jessie (Curtis) Branch; and one son, William Monroe (Shelley) Brewer; eight grandchildren: Joey, Christian, Tina, Carrie, Amanda, Jessica, Tiffany, and Matthew; nine great-grandchildren; and her sister, Joy (Richard) Purcell.
