DHS BUILDING — Construction continues on a $3 million Dept. of Human Services center at Millard. DHS will move most of its operations into the building when it is completed. Currently, the agency works out of trailers at Millard. DHS will maintain a Poplarville office, too. Also scheduled to be housed in the facility is the Justice Court operation, which is also housed in trailers, and the Veterans Service officer will also have an office in the new facility. Construction is expected to be completed in May. Casablanca of Hattisburg is contractor on the project.
