Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 5 p.m. in McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Sylvia Marie Lowery, 74, who passed away February 8, 2009 in Picayune. Services are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. The Rev. Barry Lee will officiate at the service.

A native of Columbia, Miss., she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Carl Gammill and Thelme Teston Gammill.

Survivors include: her husband, Billy Kenneth Lowery of Carriere; two daughters, Dee Oram of Denham Springs, La., and Mitzi Graham of Denham Springs; one son, Joey Douglas and wife Vickie Douglas of Denham Springs; two step-sons, Kenny Lowery of Carriere and Mike Lowery and wife July Lowery of Carriere; eight grandchildren: Chris, Summer, Dusty, Megan, Samantha, Ashton, Rebecca, and Wade; six great-grandchildren: Christian, Carson, Alexis, Noah, Carter, and Breleigh Marie.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2008 from 4-5 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
