Four people have died in a multi-vehicle accident in Wilkinson County in southwest Mississippi.

The accident occurred Wednesday on Mississippi Highway 23 just west of Woodville.

County Coroner Travis Sharp identified two of the victims as Essie Green and Dijonaise Rutledge, both of Woodville.

Sharp says the other two victims were burned in their vehicle and have not been identified.

He says all four victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
