Man gets 30 years for armed robbery

A New Orleans man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for the 2006 robbery of a Trustmark Bank office in Gloster.

Twenty-two-year-old Darrell Craig was convicted Friday by an Amite County Circuit Court jury.

Prosecutors say Craig was one of three men hooded men who burst into the bank, hopped over teller cages and demanded money from employees at gunpoint.

Craig had claimed that he was in Houston, Texas, at the time of the December 12, 2006, holdup.
