Jetaline Mixson Gossett

Jetaline Mixson Gossett, born to Tom and Bama Lee Mixson in New Brocton, Ala. on July 5, 1929, passed away September 22, 2008 at the age of 79.

Ms. Jet was an active member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Nesby Gossett, Sr.; one daughter, Mary Florence Butler; one son, Nesby Gossett, Jr.; and one grandson, James Bostick.

She is survived by: four children, Geraldine Woodburn of Picayune, Betty Hernandez of Willspoint, Texas, Peggy Thomas of Tallahassee, Fla. and Charles Thomas Gossett of Destrahan, La; 13 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2008 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 10 a.m. with visitation from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. , in the Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories in Metairie, La. under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune.
