Clarence John “CJ” Henley Jr. passed away, Saturday, May 05, 2007, at his home in Poplarville, Miss. at the age of 77. He was a retired certified master mechanic, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army during Korean War. Graveside Services will be held at New Palestine Cemetery, Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 1 p.m. Officiated by the Rev. Joey Tatum.

He is survived by: his wife, Annie Ruth Henley of Jackson, Miss.; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Joan Henley and Norma Liska, both of New Orleans, Mildred and Lester Slade of Picayune; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Patricia Henley of Baton Rouge, La,; and daughter-in-law, Carole Henley of Picayune.

He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Henley; grandson, Anthony Henley, Jr.; sister, Dorothy Penton; mother, Bernice Balaski Henley; and father, Clarence John Henley, Sr.
