A man died after being stabbed in a residence on East Canal Street on Friday evening. Jackson Police officers responded to a call about someone bleeding at 814 East Canal at approximately 5:00 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Brandon Rashad Lee with stab wounds and immediately began performing CPR.

Lee was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Antoinette Vinson was present at the residence when officers arrived. After being interviewed by detectives, Vinson was charged with first-degree murder in connection with Lee’s death.
