Memorial Graveside Services for Louis John Babylon, Sr., age 95, of Covington, LA who passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024 will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 11:00 am, in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

 

Internment will follow at 1:00 pm, at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

 

A native of New Orleans, LA, he was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish.  Louis was a Mechanic (known to many as “The Carburetor Man”), and a member of the Lutheran Faith.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Anthony Babylon and Mary Lestelle Babylon; his wife, Joan Hosch Babylon; and his grandson-in-law, Tyler Murphy.

 

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Louis (Cindy) John Babylon, Jr. and Gary (Joni) Babylon; his daughter, Joan (Michael) Lehmann; his grandchildren, Brittany Babylon, Michael Lehmann, Jr., Rachel (Jared) Vige, and Lindsey Murphy; his great grandchildren, Bracey Murphy, Michael Lehmann, III, Case Murphy, Hudson and Parker Vige; his brothers-in-law, Chester Hosch, Cyril (Sue) Hosch, and Ralph (Sue) Hosch; and numerous nieces and nephews.
