Thomas J. Carlisle, age 97, of Picayune, MS, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 15, 2024, at 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Monday, January 15, 2024 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Old Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Elder Tommy Hudnall will officiate the service.

A native of Muscogee, FL, he was a retired AC Tech, US Navy Veteran, and a member of Old Palestine Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. Tom was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend who was loved by all who had the honor to know him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John T. Carlisle and Clara Rebecca Garrett Carlisle; sisters, Mary E. Corley, Betty G. Beck, and Clara M. Stegall; brothers, James Ernest Carlisle and Donald Carlisle.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of over 44 devoted years, Beatrice Sylvest Carlisle; children, Joann (Gary) Hatch, Charles “Chuck”  Carlisle, Dean Carlisle, Donna G. (Keith) Lutenbacher, Debbie (George, IV) Pollitz, Donna (Edmond) Watts, and Randy (Debbie) Mitchell; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
