In a separate incident on January 19, 2024, Picayune Police Officers responded to the intersection of Hwy 11 South and Interstate 59 at Exit 1. They were informed that a male and female had left the scene on foot, and further investigation revealed that the vehicle they abandoned was reported stolen from Lewisburg, TN.

Detectives and Officers canvassed the area and made contact with Lindsey Hoaglin and Jake Harding, both from Missouri. Lindsey Hoaglin was wanted in Missouri for parole violations and was taken into custody. During the arrest, detectives located the key fob for the stolen vehicle, which Hoaglin had attempted to hide on the detective’s passenger-side tire.

Both suspects were taken into custody for possession of the stolen vehicle. Subsequent investigation revealed that the arrests occurred before Lewisburg authorities had identified the suspects. Video footage was obtained, showing both individuals stealing the car.

Lindsey Hoaglin and Jake Harding were booked into the Pearl River County Jail for Receiving Stolen Property.
