On November 30, 2023, God dispatched his angels and carried Jeremiah to his eternal home at the age of 13 years old.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
On December 7, 2009, Jeremiah Johns was born to the late Danielle Moye and Khary Johns of Picayune, MS.
Jeremiah attended Southside (Lower & Upper), and Picayune Junior High School where he thrived academically and enjoyed his many friends.
Jeremiah was preceded in death by his mother, Danielle Moye; brother, Eliyjah Moye; grandmother, Maggie Jackson; great grandmother, Martha Johns, and great grandfather, Eddie Johns.
He is survived by his father, Khary Johns; brother, Andrew Willis III; sisters, Hazel Herrin, Aniya Willis, and Brenley Johns; grandmothers, Brenda Rawls and Jennifer Moye; grandfather, Edward Nixon; two nephews, Quenlin Herrin and Kairo Hathorne. Left to cherish his memories are a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at First Corner Stone Baptist Church, 917 Cayten Street, Picayune, MS 39466. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Bishop Vernon Robinson will officiate at the service. Interment will be in the New Palestine Cemetery. Entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home.
