Mass of Christian Burial Services for Mary Ann Katz, age 83, of Picayune, MS who passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023 will be held Friday, December 01, 2023, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Picayune, MS.

Visitation will be Friday, December 01, 2023 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am with the Mass beginning at 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of New Orleans, LA and long-time resident of Picayune, MS, she was a Homemaker and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Harold Matthias Katz; parents, Wade Labit and Henrietta Sison Labit; brother, Wade Labit Jr.; sister, Debbie Labit.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Harold (Shannon) Katz Jr., John (Lainie) Katz, Hyla (Edward) Delaune, Barbara (Miguel) Zavala, and Matthias (Heather) Katz; grandchildren, Paula Katz-Strain, Harold (Yazmine) Katz III, Tiffany Katz, Kyla (Joseph) Veron, Edward (Morgan Breeland) Delaune Jr., Erica (Brandon) Delaune, Brett (Lorili) Delaune, Piper Katz, Maria Zavala, Miguel A. Zavala, Juan Zavala, Blake (Lizy) Katz, and Hannah Katz, great-grandchildren, Miquel, Malaya, Sierra, Jace, Edward III, Matthias, Teagan, Dawson, and Rory; brothers, Gene (Joyce) Labit and Wayne Labit; sister, Dianna (Anthony) Pervel; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
